Saint Andrew’s Episcopal Church was honored to welcome The Rt. Rev. Kathryn M. Ryan on Sunday, September 28, for a special service of confirmation and reception. Seventeen individuals were confirmed into The Episcopal Church, and one individual was formally received into the Church.
The service also included a moment of recognition for Joan Konecny, who was presented with the Bishop’s Award in honor of her lifetime of devoted service to God, The Episcopal Church, the Diocese of Texas, and Saint Andrew’s Episcopal Church.
This occasion marked both a personal milestone for those confirmed and received, as well as a historic day of celebration for the Saint Andrew’s community.
